I haven't been keeping up on the blog for some time and didn't realize people actually READ this thing! I'm happily surprised to find out that some do.
We are currently in the middle of the 2009 Sturgis Bike Rally. As with every year, a lot of our friends have returned but we are missing some as well.
Things are running smoothly and we've all been having a good time. It's always wonderful to see people we haven't seen for a year and some have been absent even longer than that.
We had a thunderstorm this evening and power was off for a couple of hours. It's never good for business but it is kinda fun. We all get to sit around in the dark and talk in hushed tones. Well, we sit around in the dark but we are rarely hushed. For some reason it feels kinda cozy and a little adventurous.
The storm predicted quarter sized hail and 70 mph winds. We had some high winds but no hail. Not sure how the rest of the rally goers fared but hope all are safe and able to find dry clothes.
Other than this evening the weather has been mostly cooperative. We've had some cold nights and mornings but it finally decided to warm back up.
I hope to post more before the rally ends. I haven't been taking pictures this year and would greatly appreciate any pictures people would like to send so I can post them here.

Loved my time there with everyone. Edy was a treat everyday. Tell Holly Hi from Denise. Hopefully she can have new stuff for me to try next year in the bar. I would like to send Edy something buti just don't have the address for there. If you could post the address for the Barn then i will send it there for her. Thanks again too you all for the time well spent there.
